Settings
Configure Nixa Duplicate to match your workflow.
Access settings at Settings → Nixa Duplicate in your WordPress admin.
General Tab
Title Suffix
Text appended to duplicated post titles. Default: (Copy)
- Leave empty for no suffix
- Use any text you prefer (e.g., " - Duplicate", " v2")
Default Status
The publication status for new duplicates:
- Draft (default) — Safe for review before publishing
- Pending — Requires editorial approval
- Private — Only visible to admins/editors
Copy Options Tab
Control what elements are copied during duplication:

| Copy Content | On | Include post content in duplicate |
| Copy Featured Image | On | Include the featured image/thumbnail |
| Copy Taxonomies | On | Include categories, tags, and custom taxonomies |
| Copy Meta | On | Include custom fields and post meta |
| Copy ACF Fields | On | Include Advanced Custom Fields data |
Permissions Tab
Select which user roles can duplicate content:
- Administrator (always enabled)
- Editor
Need More Roles?
Pro version adds Author, Contributor, and custom role support with per-post-type permissions.
Post Types Tab
Enable or disable duplication for specific post types:
- Posts
- Pages
- Any registered custom post types
Uncheck a post type to hide duplication options for that type.
Saving Settings
Click Save Changes at the bottom of any tab. Settings take effect immediately.
